Driebergen-Zeist station area
Description
Bam Infra is completely renovating the current station Driebergen-Zeist on behalf of ProRail, the Ministry of Infrastructure & the Environment, the province of Utrecht and the municipalities of Utrechtse Heuvelrug and Zeist. The project also includes the redevelopment of the Driebergen-Zeist station area.
Bottleneck becomes asset
The N225 level crossing has been a bottleneck in this area for years. BAM is building a subway under the railway and adapting the regional road structure accordingly. In the process, we are also adapting the railway infrastructure, including an expansion of two extra through tracks. We are also building a new bus station and an underground cycle cellar.
BAM is betting on BIM
An integral and multidisciplinary approach is crucial for the successful implementation of the project. We are making maximum use of BIM.
Johan Bolhuis, Integral Design Manager of BAM Infraconsult bv, will tell more about the integral (digital) design and the method of project implementation during this lecture. He will also specifically discuss the critical success factors for the client ProRail. From ProRail, Richard Bosch will also give a further explanation of how he experiences this approach.
Maximum number of participants: approximately 50. The principle of "first come, first served" applies.
