The Delta Committee's recommendations
Description
This year's symposium of the Hydraulic Engineering Society will again highlight a contemporary theme, namely a homegrown master plan covering all aspects of hydraulic engineering. The theme of the 2010 symposium will be: "The Recommendations of the Delta Commission".
Despite the broad interpretation of this theme, efforts will be made to highlight all the important points of this imposing plan. Representatives of both the business community and research institutes will be present to share their views and experiences with regard to the Delta Plan. Several projects will be discussed with a view to the Delta Plan and water safety in the Netherlands. In addition, the entire day will be provided with lunch and closing drinks. In other words, make sure not to miss this fantastic symposium on Thursday 27 May, because this is a theme that concerns the whole of the Netherlands!
