Antoine de Groot appointed Member of Merit on 15 November 2019
KIVI member Antoine de Groot was appointed Member of Merit of the Department of Civil and Hydraulic Engineering on 15 November 2019 for his outstanding services to the department and to KIVI in general
Antoine has been a member of KIVI and/or NIRIA for 30 years and active in various management positions for 25 years, including KIVI Young Members Section, Regional Board and Section/Working Group Board. He has been intensively involved in activities for young members of KIVI and NIRIA, the Tilburg region of NIRIA and the professional department for Construction and Hydraulic Engineering working group South. He was a regular participant in the board meetings. In doing so, he shared his experiences of the activities and had a keen eye for the added value of the activities for the members.
