Artificial Intelligence in the boardroom, with Meike Nauta, Engineer of the Year 2025 / winner of the Prince Friso Engineer Prize
What exactly is artificial intelligence (AI), how does it work and what can you do with it?
'As organisations, sooner or later we will have to deal with the possibilities of AI as well as how do we want to deal with this as an organisation 'governance wise'.
A lot has already happened in this area and more is waiting in the near future. Our speakers will be happy to take you into this world. For instance, we will highlight AI from a business perspective on topics such as what have we done with it so far as an organisation and what has it given us in terms of strategic advantage and decision-making. But before going into that, we will start with the context of AI for business operations.
How does AI think and how can AI be visualised to a board of directors, executive and/or management team. Next, we will go into our case study. And finally, we briefly reflect on the risks of AI and do the introduction for the mutual interactive session " Putting AI successfully into practice".
Over dinner, we will discuss in groups with each other using the presented canvas model to apply 'Putting AI successfully into practice' to our current 'own' situation. All while enjoying a bite to eat and drink. Plenary, the experiences and tips are then fed back to each other.
Practical
The symposium will take place in the KIVI Building, Prinsessegracht 23, 2514 AP The Hague. Parking Malieveld garage (daily rate € 32) and 5 min walk; or NS Central Station and line 9 HTM
Cost
We charge € 95 for KIVI members, including 'canvas AI model reader', dinner and drinks. non-members € 295.
