Description

Credit crunch: developments and prospects.

Every day you read about economic developments in the newspapers. Headlines in the papers like "nowhere is your money safe anymore", "new construction market collapsed" and "the biggest setback since 1931" reach us.

Drs. L.L.M. (Leo) van der Plas, executive chairman of Rabobank Vlietstreek-Zoetermeer, will take you through the origins and developments of the financial crisis. He will address questions such as "What are the consequences for our economy, activity and employment?", "Are banks really more cautious in providing loans and mortgages? "and "How can we get the economic engine moving as well as possible?". After his introduction, there will be plenty of room for discussion and questions.
