The KIVI Department of Business Administration invites you to an evening session on 6 July 2015 at the KIVI building in The Hague, Prinsessegracht 23 (Note: not Prinsegracht) 2514 AP The Hague.
How do I set up a commercially successful business?
The session is intended for KIVI members who are planning to start or have already started their own business and are looking for good tips and advice. The evening will start with two inspiring presentations after which you can pitch your own company and/or business plan.

How do I make a good estimate of the market potential? How do I ensure a good pricing model towards the market? What is Business Model Testing? What does it cost to bring in a customer? How can a company be valued and what are the pitfalls in attracting external capital? What are the biggest mistakes a startup can make?
About Alain: has extensive experience in coaching startups. Currently working professionally as a business accelerator of high-tech startups within the European EIT ICT Labs, he coaches around 25 high-tech startups a year in Europe.

- An exclusively oral explanation, or a maximum of 4 PowerPoint slides, about your plan or company.
- You will receive feedback on paper from all attendees because immediately after your pitch we will ask them to write down the most important impressions, tips, advice.
- You will then be handed this feed back.
