Description

Introduction
Workload management is all about tackling your workload yourself. Why do you experience workload and your colleague, with the same work, does not? How different is your way of working and couldn't it be better? Would you like to take control of your agenda (again)? How do you get through all those e-mails every day? Perhaps there is no new answer to these questions and you already knew what you should do. This workshop is aimed at getting you to do it. You can decide which part you want to start with in the workplace: it's entirely up to you.

Target group
Anyone who experiences workload or manages people who experience workload.

Structure of workshop
During the workshop we will discuss two main themes for managing your workload:
1) How do I set the right priorities?
- how do I deal with interruptions;
- when can I say 'No';
- how do I prioritise my e-mails.
2) What system can I apply to work in an organised way?

You will be invited to send -in preparation for the workshop- a photo of your workplace. During the training, your photo will be discussed (anonymously) and, if necessary, you will be given tips on how to organise your workplace.

CONTENTS
Participants will receive the Powerpoint presentation of the workshop by e-mail afterwards

Margot Dijker has been providing skills training courses such as management skills, communication and commercial skills as a trainer since 1999. She has had her own training agency since 2004: Dijk training & coaching.
Workload management, focusing on team and personal effectiveness, she has been giving courses at various organisations including Philips and Rabobank since 2001.
The practical and effective structure of this training continues to be in high demand. What Margot Dijker achieves with the participants is not only learning the (new) skills, but especially retaining the results. She does this by coaching in the workplace in addition to training.
