Description

Long-running research shows that Business IT alignment has been one of the top three management concerns since 1994, and this despite the many hundreds of academic publications that have appeared on the subject. However, recent research shows that BITA cannot be solved, indeed that it would be bad for the organisation if it is solved.

On 16 June, in a panel discussion with Foppe Vogd (Programme Director CIO Platform Netherlands), Kees Jans (CIO of Schiphol Group) and Toon Abcouwer (University of Amsterdam), we will address the question of why BITA is still not solved, whether it can be solved at all and whether we can learn to deal with the issue via a different way of looking at it. The title of this meeting - Business IT alignment will never be solved - is the basic proposition with which we will start this "lecture tour". You are challenged to bring in points for dialogue. You can bring these points when you register. You can of course also bring your points for the dialogue on the evening itself
