Description
Telecommunications and IT services are becoming increasingly ubiquitous. They play a crucial role in the infrastructure of our society (communications, government, finance, transport and other public services) and our individual lives (health, entertainment, home automation, etc.).
Our growing dependence on IT systems means that we have to impose higher demands on the security and robustness of these systems. Information systems security concerns everyone and can only be addressed by taking an interdisciplinary, holistic approach. This is increasingly important because an increasing number of individuals and organisations that are victims of cyber security incidents.
Last year, FITCE BE co-organised the International Cyber Security Strategy Congress 2013 congress in Leuven. As a result, FITCE NL and KIVI section Telecom are holding a lecture evening on this topic with Dutch speakers
