Description

The Sports Engineering and Construction departments of KIVI NIRIA are organising an activity/excursion on Friday 30 November in The Hague (Ypenburg) to take a look behind the scenes of the most modern indoor 50m competition pool in the Netherlands! Thanks in part to technology and science, multifunctional accommodations are being realised, records broken, progress made, think of recently won Olympic medals.

Het Hofbad is The Hague's first indoor 50m competition pool. The new addition meets all modern requirements and is equipped for competitions and training activities of national and regional selections.

In addition, the Hofbad symbolises The Hague's glorious swimming history and offers a bright future to regional swimming talents. There is finally the opportunity for young talents to develop in their own environment. The four springboards and the five-metre-high diving tower give top swimmers the opportunity to reach higher levels nationally and internationally.
In short, this pool is equipped with all the latest technology that an international competition pool needs and of course all swimming enthusiasts are welcome; from young to old and from top swimmers to recreational athletes.
