The board of KIVI construction department is organising a seminar on demountable construction on 30 November. During the seminar, five (short) lectures will be given where the views of the initiator, developer, architect, structural engineer and contractor on demountable construction will be shared.

The aim of the session is first of all to share knowledge around demountable construction. Whereas in 2017, the temporary court in Amsterdam was still seen as a pioneering project, the demand for demountable constructions is steadily increasing. In recent years, a lot of knowledge has been gained around demountable construction and we would like to take you through this. The seminar will address the main issues surrounding demountable construction. Think about questions such as: when to design in a demountable way, how to guarantee the force effect, and what to look out for when it comes to easy (re-)assembly We hope to see you on 30 November at 16.00.
