Webinar Parametric Designing

On 1 April from 15.30 to 17.30, KIVI Construction Section is organising a Webinar on Parametric Designing in which the concept will be highlighted from four different disciplines, namely design, implementation, construction and installation engineering.

The programme will consist of four short lectures by companies from the different disciplines and a panel discussion between the different speakers and students from TU Eindhoven and TU Delft.

The companies that will speak are:

  • Lennart Wiltjer of IMD (construction)
  • Robert Capel of Octatube (execution)
  • Mark Hopperman of UNstudio (designs)
  • Gijs Joosen of RoyalHaskoning (installation)

Parametric design is not a new concept, but it has seen tremendous growth in the construction world in recent years. By explaining the contemporary role of parametric design in different disciplines, an integral picture can be painted of what it might mean for us in the future. This discussion point will therefore be the main topic of the panel.
