15 years of Netherlands Radarland
Description
Advanced radar technology is of great importance not only for the armed forces, but also for Defence-related national industry and knowledge centres. The Netherlands has a leading position in the world in the field of radar. To stimulate and perpetuate knowledge, innovation and developments in the radar field, the Netherlands Radar Land Platform (NLRL) was established in 2002. In it, in addition to Defence, Thales NL, TNO (the Golden Triangle) and TU Delft are represented.
On Wednesday 8 November 2017, we will celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Platform Nederland Radarland. This theme day will include the presentation of the Radar and Integrated Sensor Suites 2020-2030 roadmap.
During this theme day, you can expect the following:
- Inspirational lectures/presentations on research programmes and future developments.
- Lectures by keynote speakers and by various speakers from industry, knowledge institutes, universities and defence.
- Various posters/stands with radar-related topics and research results.
- Ample opportunity for networking and informal exchange of views on the results during the breaks and closing drinks.
