Air Force - AOCS Nieuw Milligen
Description
Visit to the Air Operations Control Station Nieuw Milligen (AOCS NM), where the air force continuously monitors Dutch airspace using disparate systems. AOCS NM uses a wide range of older and modern technologies. This will include a visit to the Medium Power Radar (MPR), which will show how information from a 1970s high-power radar system is digitised for processing by modern air traffic and combat control systems.
