The ALV is open to all members of the Defence & Security Department. We would like to welcome as many members as possible to hear what is going on in the department and to give you the opportunity to think and decide on the shape of the upcoming association year.

The meeting will last only an hour. Afterwards, you can participate in the (free) Kooy Symposium we organise every year. Theme: Extreme Conditions. What techniques and technologies exist for defence personnel to operate safely and efficiently under Extreme Circumstances? Light/dark, cold/heat, no means of communication, no oxygen and so on. And what developments are necessary to do this in a rapidly changing future? How will defence itself deal with this and what role do industry and research institutes play?
