The armed forces must adapt to an increasingly complex world where the unthinkable can become true with barely comprehensible speed and unpredictability. Adaptability (adaptivity) is thus of existential importance for the armed forces and Dutch society as a whole.

The Regiment Genietroepen has traditionally been closely linked to society. In addition, engineers are "pioneers" and our motto is not for nothing "improvise to succeed". The Corps of Engineers is enterprising and thus an eminently suitable platform to put the concept of the Adaptive Armed Forces into practice.

Entitled 'Together we pave the way', on Friday 30 November military and civilian participants will look together at the concept of 'The Adaptive Corps of Engineers'.
