In 2020, Embedded Acoustics won the Defence Innovation Competition with their PicoMonitor. A system that continuously collects data on the health of military personnel through a wristband and an earpiece. This data supports the commander in selecting the right people for a mission, the medical staff in making quick diagnoses, the military in monitoring its health and its colleagues in finding the soldier when he is wounded. The company was given two years and 200,000 euros by the Ministry of Defence to develop the idea further.
