Response to Defence Industry Strategy
Description
On 10 December 2013, the ministers of Defence and Economic Affairs presented an updated Defence Industry Strategy to the House of Representatives. The Parliament's Standing Committee on Defence (VCD) will discuss this paper on 10 April.
The DIS aims to position, from the operational interests and needs of
Defence, the Dutch defence and security-related industry (DVI) and
knowledge institutions in such a way that they can make a high-quality contribution to
Dutch security. This will also enable them to operate competitively on the European
and international market and in supply chains.
KIVI Defence and Security Section would like to use the collective knowledge of its members and convey the opinions of our professional association's members to the VCD, so that they can use them in assessing the paper.
During the meeting on 2 April, we will discuss the comments submitted by members in advance via the website. Follow the link below to submit your views.
No new comments can be submitted during the discussion meeting.
