Visit TNO Soesterberg for DV members

On 10 February 2011, TNO is organising a visit for KIVI NIRIA members to its Soesterberg location. The main activity of this location is man-machine interaction. This is reflected in the wide range of research areas at this location, ranging from Serious Gaming and innovative Command & Control systems like "Cannibal Hector" to the huge simulator of aircraft movements "Desdemona".
During the visit, we will learn about some of these research areas and watch three demos of research systems

This activity is open exclusively to the following members of KIVI NIRIA:
- student members KNS-Delft studying LR at TU Delft (20)
- student members KNS-Delft studying Aeronautical Engineering at INHolland (10)
- members of the KIVI NIRIA Defence and Security Department (20)
In case of too many applications, the board will decide on allocation to participants.
TNO Soesterberg is easily accessible by public transport. Bus 52 from Utrecht and from Amersfoort stops 200 metres from the location. Follow the link for directions and and public transport information.
