Unrest on the eastern borders, the world order under pressure, heightened tensions between the United States and China and an invisible cyberwar are also putting our national security on edge.
In the run-up to the House of Representatives elections, the Netherlands Atlantic Association, in cooperation with the Royal Association for the Study of Martial Law (KVBK), is exploring the views of politicians in the Netherlands. We will do this during 'The Great Security and Defence Election Debate' on 30 October from 16.30 to 19.00 at De Balie in Amsterdam. Diplomacy expert Robert van de Roer will act as moderator.
What is the future of Dutch security and defence policy and the armed forces? With whom do we cooperate? And what is needed in terms of commitment, knowledge, people and resources? Why should we care? With the fall of Rutte IV, established politics is making room for new noise and it is high time for a debate in which the foreign positions of various political parties are re-examined.
Registration for this event is possible via the form below. Further information will soon be available via this page.
