Every year, KIVI Defence and Security in cooperation with Eurodefense Netherlands organises the Defence Masterclass
On 6 June 2024, we concluded the 5th edition of the KIVI / Eurodefense Masterclass Defence with an excellent dinner in the magnificent Naval Club in Den Helder.
We organise this 15-day Masterclass annually for 40 young engineers and other WO/HBO educated professionals to get acquainted with the special aspects of Defence, knowledge institutes and companies in the sector. And of course also to build a network of friends and acquaintances in the sector. Look here for more information. and or view a photo impression.
The final working visit of this Masterclass to the Royal Netherlands Navy in Den Helder was spectacular, including a tour of the port, a visit to the impressive air defence and commando frigate Zr.Ms.Evertsen and a look under the keel of a naval ship in the Royal Netherlands Navy's enormous dry dock.
We look back on a very successful Masterclass with 6 lecture days and 9 working visits throughout the defence sector and are already looking forward to the next edition, starting on 19 September 2024.
