Save the date: 3 November Mars & Mercury, in collaboration with KVBK, HCSS and Royal Netherlands Army, is organising the symposium 'Battle of Europe / Battlefield Europe' .
The third Mars and Mercury symposium will take place on 3 November 2021. The title is 'Battle of Europe / Battlefield Europe'. The hybrid symposium in Stroe - which can also be followed free of charge via a livestream - includes five lectures that address the changing security situation for Europe and its consequences for the Netherlands and for the Dutch armed forces. Speakers include Rob de Wijk (HCSS), Hester Somsen (NCTV), Frans Kleyheeg (TNO), Bart Groothuis (Member of the European Parliament, VVD) and ltgen Michiel van der Laan (Head of NATO/EU Permanent Military Representation).
Col Mietta Groeneveld will lead the symposium and also the discussion that will take place after the lectures
