KIVI Defence and Security extends collaboration with Eurodefense Netherlands
KIVI Defence and Security has extended its collaboration with Eurodefense Netherlands (EDNL) with this course. EDNL is a foundation that promotes better European defence cooperation. The Eurodefense network covers 15 countries and includes a large number of former ministers, politicians, diplomats, top military and industrialists from across Europe.
The name of the course changes from "Defence for Engineers" to "KIVI Masterclass Defence".
The content remains virtually unchanged, as it was already tailored to a wider audience than just engineers. Only a half-day session on European cooperation and, if possible, a working visit to Brussels will be added. This allows us to offer participants knowledge and skills in diplomacy and policy in addition to engineering. In addition, there are some administrative changes.
We are very happy to offer our member engineers and other WO or HBO-trained professionals in this way even better insight into the rapidly growing importance of European defence cooperation. Since the war in Ukraine, slow-moving cooperation processes have gained momentum, which every engineer in the sector will have to deal with in the coming years.
The cooperation is tentative for one year and can be extended thereafter.
