NWO calls were recently published for the Maritime Hightech and Data & Intelligence missions. In line with this, (online) matchmaking meetings will be organised in January. Interesting for both research parties and industry.
Defence has been part of the government-wide Mission-Driven Top Sectors and Innovation Policy since October 2019. Together with JenV and EZK, eight missions have been defined in the Knowledge and Innovation Agenda (KIA) Security. For each mission, objectives and innovation and knowledge questions have been articulated. NWO has resources available to contribute with scientific and practice-based research to the social themes of the MTIB and the missions of the KIA Security.
NWO calls have recently been published for the following two missions:

Data & Intelligence
Within the Knowledge and Innovation Covenant (KIC) 2020-2023, budget is made available for research on these two themes. Interdisciplinary consortia of knowledge institutions, public and private partners, can submit proposals with a total size of minimum €750,000 and maximum €3,000,000.
In line with this, (online) matchmaking meetings will be organised in January. The first is aimed at exploring possible research questions, the second at consortium formation.
