Security and Innovation Competition challenges your entrepreneurial spirit

Once again this year, the Ministry of Security and Justice, together with Defence, the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee and the National Police, is organising the Security and Innovation Competition: VIC 2016. Engineers, SMEs and startups are challenged to submit innovative ideas around this year's theme: Intelligent Data Visualisation.

The winner will receive €200,000 to develop their proposal with the government.
The competition closes on 5 September . The winning proposal will be grandly announced on 22 November 2016, at the Security and Justice Innovation Congress.

Information day:
Come to the information meeting on Thursday 30 June at Meldkamer De Yp in The Hague . You are welcome from 12.30pm.

  • Staff from the Ministry of Security and Justice, Ministry of Defence , the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee, National Police but also from other organisations involved will discuss this topic with you. In addition, you will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
  • You will receive background information on the competition and presentations with example cases.
  • And, of course, you will also meet numerous colleagues from SMEs working on this topic.
