We are looking for a technically trained naval officer to join our network of engineers in the defence sector from the Royal Navy.
Defence and Security is one of the most active departments within KIVI. The department undertakes numerous activities within the sector. We organise lectures, symposia and visits, advise politicians, organise a course for young engineers and contribute to the defence and security technology sector in the Netherlands in various other ways.
A vacancy will soon arise within the department board. It is a volunteer position requiring one or a few hours per week. The department aims to have representatives from all sections of the defence sector on its board. We are therefore looking for an experienced and enthusiastic naval officer to join the network of engineers in the defence sector from the KM, DMO, BS or NLDA.

Within the departmental board, tasks are divided into portfolios. You are the liaison to CZSK, units of the KM and other relevant organisational parts of Defence. In addition, depending on your wishes, capabilities and available time, you will be assigned one of the other available portfolios in consultation. Naturally with support from the other board members and the KIVI office. It's all about content.
Your profile
For this position, we are looking for a technically trained naval officer in active service or a naval officer who recently left Defence. A well-developed network within Defence is important.
