The Historical Section of the Royal Flemish Chemical Society (KVCV) and the Chemistry Historical Group (CHG) of the Royal Dutch Chemical Society (KNCV) in collaboration with the Dutch Process Technologists (NPT) and the Katholieke Hogeschool Leuven (KHLeuven) a symposium on Life in the brewery!

Beer brewing is one of the oldest biotechnological processes. Over the centuries, scientists and technologists have optimised the production process. During the symposium, some striking aspects of beer brewing will be highlighted.

The symposium is aimed not only at
science historians and technologists but to anyone interested in the history of brewing.
