On 11 October next, a new edition of the NPT Café Oost will take place in the Concordia theatre on the Oude Markt in Enschede. This time, materials manufacturing is central, and both high performance materials and additives are on the programme. Two speakers from two Overijssel-based companies will lecture on their work within this theme. The evening will be closed with a networking drink at SamSam.

20:00 Richard Sepp, Byk Netherlands BV - "The world of (wax) additives"
Byk Netherlands (Deventer) specialises in the production of wax additives and Richard Sepp will give a lecture about the company Byk, its products and how the additives are produced and what role they play in increasing the performance of waxes.

20:45 Hans Luinge, TenCate - "A new generation of composites for aerospace"
At TenCate Advanced Materials (Nijverdal, recently part of Toray), high-tech materials are made for the aerospace industry. How those materials are developed and produced, Hans Luinge will explain in his lecture subtitled "Material development for fast and efficient production".
