Wijzonol company visit and NPT annual meeting

A mixed company of over 30 visitors was welcomed at 14:00. During the tour of the factory, the production process was discussed and the passion for the company, coupled with the necessary Eastern humour, certainly did not go unnoticed. In addition, the visitors were impressed with the recognition and immediate imitation of the colour of a shirt and the driving licence of the upcoming chairman of NPT.

Besides the good service that Wijzonol strives for, the family-run company stands above all for sustainability. Wijzonol invests heavily in the development of natural products, including replacing fossil fuels. It has also developed a new paint line based on the renewable linseed oil. In addition, host Edwin van Loo explained how some paints use starch, extracted from the wastewater of the potato processing industry .

Before the afternoon ended with snacks and drinks, NPT's annual meeting took place where the secretarial and financial annual report 2014 , as well as the budget 2015 were approved. The board composition has changed considerably. New board members are currently being sought for two positions. The new chairman of NPT, Joop de Rooij, after discharging the old board, gave a clear presentation explaining the newly drafted policy and related activities. An extensive interview with Joop de Rooij can be read in NPT process technology which is now out.

A well-spent afternoon with thanks to Wijzonol!
