Between shore and ship: the rise of shore power

Sea-going vessels and barges moored in a port also use energy there. However, running diesel generators in port is environmentally damaging.

That is why electrification is being worked on here too.

More and more ports are offering shore power so that ships in port can use a connection to the electricity grid.

How are we going to provide power to all these ships?

With presentations by Jeroen Janssen (ElaadNL) and Ryan Cornelisse (Port of Rotterdam).

Afterwards, Coen Peelen (Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management) and Anne-Joël Leerling (Stedin) will also join the expert panel.
