On 10 December, Van Egmond Groep welcomed us to Doetinchem with a programme, which gave an excellent impression, what an Electrical Wholesaler can do and what they all do in panel building.

Van Egmond Group consists of three companies, namely Electrotechnical Wholesale, Industrial Automation and Knowledge Centre and is focused on supplying goods and services in the field of electrotechnology and industrial automation.

A noteworthy development within Van Egmond Group is that it acquired Elauma Waagmeester in the middle of this year. Elauma Waagmeester is a specialised electrical engineering wholesaler for industry, machine and panel building. This acquisition means that Van Egmond Groep significantly strengthens its position in the industrial market in the western Netherlands. In addition to the existing branches in Doetinchem, Weert, Veghel and Barendrecht, Van Egmond Groep now also has branches in The Hague, Zaandam and Rhoon.

Van Egmond Groep's activities go beyond supplying products and services in the field of electrical engineering, industrial automation and knowledge sharing. For example, Van Egmond Groep keeps a close eye on market developments and anticipates these by developing innovative tools and organising useful training courses within various sectors and industries.

Van Egmond Group was looking forward to hosting us in Doetinchem on 10 December 2019. A programme had been put together for the day. After the tour of the company, a technical presentation was given by Peter Köster, Head of Panel Construction with specific focus on Selectivity, UL certification (control panels) and Short-circuit resistance in power distribution devices and control panels.
