Opening RetroFuture | Evoluon
On 24 September 1966, HRH Prince Bernhard and Frits Philips opened the Evoluon in Eindhoven as a future-oriented place for young and old, educated and uneducated. Fifty-six years later, on 24 September 2022 from 3pm, Next Nature will reopen the Evoluon to the public with the exhibition RetroFuture.
People have always thought about the future, what can we learn from yesterday's future? RetroFuture takes you into the experiences of future thinkers, dreamers and artists with design, art, science and film.
In the Evoluon, we will see the fiction and facts that have shaped our future. On the four 'rings' of the Evoluon, 3,000 m2 of exhibition has been set up.
The RetroFuture exhibition was developed by Next Nature. The Evoluon is image for "spaceship earth" on which we all live now and in the future.
