Project presentations Fontys students
Description
Every year, very interesting projects are carried out by Fontys University of Applied Sciences students. You are guests of the departments of Engineering (Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering) and Applied Physics (Applied Physics). In the studies of Applied Physics and Engineering at the Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven, students carry out projects for industry. In these Integrated Product Development (IPD) and ASIA projects (research projects)
students from both departments work together in groups of 4 to 6 students on a problem which comes from professional practice.
On 1 July 2015, these projects are concluded with a final presentation in which the students present their work. Usually, YOU can also see the working results of the project. You are invited to attend these presentations and talk to the students about their projects afterwards. The programme starts with a guest speaker on a current topic and continues with a number of parallel sessions from which you can choose your own. The programme will be announced about 2 weeks in advance.
This year is the 5th time KIVI is linking an award to the presentations. To add extra lustre, our president, Martin van Pernis, will open the meeting with a key note speech on the role of the engineer in today's society.
After the presentations, the nominated projects will be judged by a jury on behalf of the lecturers and KIVI. The students of the best project will be awarded the KIVI annual prize in the festive closing ceremony.
KIVI members will have the opportunity to interact with the students and lecturers on the day with a stand representing their company. If you would like to take advantage of this, please contact Cor van den Bosch: jocobowi@onsbrabantnet.nl
