Description
Refineries play an important role in keeping our society moving. A refinery's energy supply plays a central role in the reliability of the refining process. There is an opportunity to learn about the energy supply of one of the world's largest refineries at Shell in Pernis. Messrs Evert van Velzen and Marc Zwart of Shell Nederland Raffinaderij B.V. will give a talk. There will also be a guided tour of the extensive site, so that some things can be seen in practice.
