The book "Spanning and Sensation" gives a picture of the field of Electrical Engineering as it has existed at TU Delft for the past 110 years. The book describes the development of the Dutch Electricity Grid, making it clear that this could not have happened without the discipline of Electrical Engineering.
TU Delft's Electrical Engineering Association is celebrating its 110th anniversary on 17 March next. To experience this with us, you can register for the Symposium "Smart Grids and Smart Homes - Where the twain will meet!". The meeting is organised by the Electrical Engineering Association (ETV) and the Royal Institute of Engineers (KIVI) and is also sponsored by KIVI Electrical Engineering Department.
