Unlike other years, it will start with a number of lectures and a construction site visit around the RijnlandRoute project. Following this programme, the General Meeting of Members will be held during which the state of affairs regarding the Geotechnical Division will be explained. The Members' Meeting will conclude with a buffet.

The RijnlandRoute is a new road link from Katwijk, via the A44, to the A4 near Leiden. The road will solve current bottlenecks and guarantee traffic flow in the Holland Rijnland region, especially around Leiden and Katwijk. On behalf of the Province of South Holland, Comol5 is responsible for the conversion of the Leiden West interchange, the construction of the new N434 with bored tunnel and the adjustments to the A4 and A44.

Presentations and site visits will be provided by construction consortium Comol5.
