Geo-Impuls programme: location changed!
Description
The evening of lectures planned by the Geotechnical Department on the 21st on the theme 'GeoImpuls' unfortunately turns out - due to various internal moves at Rijkswaterstaat - not to be able to be held at the originally intended location at Beatrixpark in The Hague.
The lecture evening will therefore be moved to the building of BAM Civiel, H.J. Nederhorststraat 1 in Gouda. See the enclosed directions. The location is easily accessible by both car and train.
The consequences of Geotechnical Failure are often major. Not only for the project itself, but also for confidence in the construction industry. This is why several parties in the ground, road and hydraulic engineering sector launched the Geo-Impuls programme on 1 July 2009. The goal: 50% fewer geotechnical failures by 2015.
During the second lecture evening of the Geotechnical Division, presentations will report on the first results of the Geo-Impuls programme
