Annual KIVI NIRIA - K VIV study day with Flemish and Dutch perspectives

Due to the scarcity of building land, people are increasingly obliged to treat land that is not suitable as building land in itself, so that it becomes so after treatment.
A wide range of processes can be considered for this purpose, ranging from stabilisation and immobilisation to the Soil Mix technique and even treatment with bacteria.
During the seminar, the treatment of both geotechnically and environmentally unsuitable soils will be explained on
with a number of contributions providing an overview
of the techniques and with various case studies.
Attention will also be paid to monitoring the quality of the treated soil.
