Between 12 and 17 September 2021, the 20th International Conference on Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ICSMGE 2021) will take place in Sydney. KIVI Geotechniek is coordinating the paper selection for the ICSMGE on behalf of the Netherlands, in more information below

ICSMGE 2021 is one of the largest conferences in the field of Geotechnical Engineering. 34 papers can be submitted on behalf of the Netherlands. More information about the conference can be found at http://icsmge2021.org/. Abstracts should be submitted no later than 6 April 2020 via nssmge@kivi.nl . After acceptance by KIVI, have abstract can be submitted online at http://icsmge2021.org/. The abstract should be submitted via the ICSMGE website by the author no later than 30 April 2020. Below are the guidelines provided by the organisation.

Submission Guidelines (20 ICSMGE)

  • Submission no later than 6 April 2020 via nssmge@kivi.nl
  • Abstracts must be written in English.
  • Abstract submissions must include abstract title, author(s)' name(s), affiliations, addresses and contact numbers, and the email address of the corresponding author.
  • Abstract body including references should be in text only and should not exceed 250 words.
  • All abstracts should clearly state: Objectives, Methods and Conclusions.
  • Abstracts will be required to be associated with one, or up to three, of the ISSMGE's Technical Committees. Please note that author(s) do not necessarily need to be members of TCs but the topic of the paper needs to align with at least one ISSMGE TC.
  • Authors of papers must be members of ISSMGE
