On Tuesday 27 May 2025, the Netherlands Geotextile Organisation (NGO) is organising an interactive and practice-oriented session around geotextiles in collaboration with Windesheim University of Applied Sciences. An inspiring day where students and professionals will work together on this versatile geotechnical material.

Morning:
Reception with coffee/tea (9.00-9.30 am)
Welcome and general introduction NGO
Explanation of a practical case
Boat trip along parts of the Stadsdijken Zwolle project
Afternoon:
Presentation by Fugro on dyke improvements + applications of geosynthetics from NGO
Brainstorming sessions on the case
Practical trials on the outdoor site
Networking drinks (17:00 - 18:00 hrs)
