Carve is a multidisciplinary design and engineering firm focusing on the design of public (outdoor) space. Children and young people, in particular, are central to their designs as users. From various disciplines such as industrial product design, (landscape) architecture and civil engineering, innovative, playable ground-level facilities, special play constructions, furniture and architectural objects are developed in a unique way.

Jasper van der Schaaf is design project manager at Carve and has now been with the firm for more than ten years.
During this evening, Jasper will use recently completed projects - such as the Discovery Slides at Changi Airport, Singapore - to explain how Carve's approach results in feasible, demand-specific and distinctive designs and engineering solutions.
