Aernout Dijkstra-Hellinga is one of the lead designers at Bugaboo. He leads the design and engineering teams, developing products that make life easier and more fun for parents and children. Aernout studied industrial design at TU Delft.
Over the past 17 years, Aernout has contributed a lot to several Bugaboo products, such as the Bugaboo Bee, the Bugaboo Donkey, the Bugaboo Fox and the Bugaboo Ant. Coming up with new, innovative solutions, and solving complex problems with smart, possibly simplified solutions, are therefore his expertise.
In addition to his role as lead designer, he is committed to sustainability and creating a better world for the future. As a sustainability expert, he develops and implements the "products to last" philosophy at Bugaboo. He will talk about this in his lecture.
