'How a Dutch design team brought success to a Norwegian company in Europe'
Okke van Mourik, Industrial Designer, started a 'New Product Development' team for BeSafe 10 years ago, based in downtown Utrecht.
BeSafe has been a Norwegian manufacturer of car seats for children since 1963. For a long time, the company had its focus on Scandinavia, but since 2000 it has also set its sights on the rest of Europe.
Thanks to the 'New Product Development' team, the company has gained momentum and is growing rapidly across Europe and beyond.
What factors have contributed to this growth, and what part has new product development played in it?
