Designs for visitors museum
Description
This final KIVI College of 2016 will be delivered by Marco Ruzza. As a designer, he was a major creative force behind Northernlight's many projects. This Amsterdam-based multidisciplinary design agency specialises in developing interactive experiences for museums, science centres and amusement parks around the world, among others. Examples from the Netherlands include Nemo (Amsterdam), Beeld en Geluid (Hilversum) and Het Utrechts Archief, and worldwide the EcOman project, the New Science and Technology Museum in Beijing and many others. Today, he fulfils the role of Art Director at Jora Vision, where he continues to develop as a manager with responsibility over the entire (design) process. Marco explains what is involved in designing an experience concept, why this field needs to be multidisciplinary to make a maximum impression on visitors, and what makes this niche market so particularly enjoyable.
Participation in the lecture is free of charge. Costs for dinner are €20 (main course incl. two drinks), payable in cash.
