Shapeways is a fast-growing RP company, founded 2008 in the Netherlands and now headquartered in New York. Offers via web worldwide the ability to manufacture products with 3D printing techniques. Reduces costs by sharing printers with other users. Online uploading of your CAD file is enough.
Bart Veldhuizen is one of the pioneers at Shapeways, he plays an important role in communicating with the community. This is constantly evolving: 125,000 regular visitors share their designs with others or offer their own products for sale. Shapeways learns from the ideas coming from the community.
Bart reveals the latest trends, the possibilities, special materials, shapes and crazy applications, and discusses the opportunities for designers in this development.
One or more Dutch designers will also show the products they developed at Shapeways and present their business case.
