Description

Virtual Reality literally means virtual reality, which means a simulated reality that the user appears to be in. For some time now, this technology has been on the rise. Only in the past few years have there been big leaps in VR. With the arrival of the Oculus Rift, the possibilities of Virtual Reality have become familiar to the general public. However, the recent, well-known, developments focus very much on gaming: how can the user be offered an even better experience? This symposium would like to point out the possibilities of applying Virtual Reality for industrial designers beyond the popular segments. Industrial designers are broadly trained and will find that same breadth at this symposium: a topic with multiple sub-areas of interest to any designer
