Final Workshop Borderless Engineering
Description
On Friday 8th of July, graduate students of Avans University are organising an exhibition under the theme of Borderless Engineering. In the last 6 months, they have been conducting research over problems concerning development aid and refugee housing. This has resulted in six inspiring and creative projects that extend from Heerlen to Cape Town. Within these different contexts research questions about self-reliance, self-assembly, integration, sustainability, climate, participation, safety and circular growth are investigated. During this exhibition, the students exhibit their findings on these issues and how they have translated this into a design as an end product of their graduation program.
On July 8, you are very welcome to the Engineers without Border's office in Delftsestraat 33-1, Rotterdam (Doorbell 100, 2nd floor).
Previously to the exhibition, an architecture guided tour will be done through some of the iconic Rotterdam building's and spaces. Following the exhibition, you are also kindly invited for a drink.
