Excursion Streamline: Working on safe and natural floodplains.

Rijkswaterstaat and Courant are jointly organising an excursion on 25 October for KIVI Department of Land Use and Water Management on the Streamline programme along the IJssel. You are cordially invited.

Along the IJssel, Tauw, as lead agency, operates together with green contractor Bruins & Kwast and stewardship office Eelerwoude. This combination has been named Courant. We are working on the Streamline IJssel project, as part of Rijkswaterstaat's Streamline Programme. It should ensure better flow at high water, by removing excess vegetation in the floodplains.

During the excursion, you will learn about the usefulness and necessity of the programme and how Courant is carrying out its work.
