Traffic load in practice
Description
On Wednesday 7 June 2017, from 13.15 to 16.45 at the offices of Hoogheemraadschap Hollands Noorderkwartier, Stationsplein 136, 1703 WC Heerhugowaard, the third meeting of the Network Dike Monitoring will take place.
At STOWA and Rijkswaterstaat's Knowledge Day Inspecting Flood Defences, the introduction to this meeting has already yielded a nice harvest of topics that resonate with you and we are now offering.
Two substantive speakers will take you through the following two substantive topics:
1. 'Monitoring regional flood defences in relation to traffic loads, load distribution and water spans' (Leo Kwakman, Arcadis).
2. Background and variation magnitude of traffic loads (Deltares).
We will also organise expertise in the room to answer all your questions on this topic. Your host will be Nelle Jan van Veen of HHNK.
You can register to participate in this meeting via netwerk@dijkmonitoring.nl. After signing up, you will be kept informed by e-mail of current developments about this meeting. The number of participants is limited.
