Working on safe and natural floodplains
Along the IJssel, Tauw, as lead agency, operates together with green contractor Bruins & Kwast and stewardship office Eelerwoude. This combination has been named Courant. We are working on the Streamline IJssel project, as part of Rijkswaterstaat's Streamline Programme. It should ensure better flow at high water, by removing excess vegetation in the floodplains.
